Kelly Osbourne is officially a Material Girl! Last month it was announced that the 26-year-old reality star/actress was replacing "Gossip Girl"'s Taylor Momsen as the face of Madonna and daughter Lourdes Leon's rocker chic line. And now you can see the raucous results!
A platinum-tressed Kelly vamps, vogues and poses for a series of graffiti-laced ads meant to hearken back to Madge's roots in New York City's East Village. The '80s are alive and well in these images, from Kelly's bangled wrists to that ginormous boom box. (Yes, kids, that's how us oldsters used to listen to music.)
"I take so much of my style from Madonna in the '80s and I really admire how Lola dresses and that she stays true to herself,” Kelly said. “It’s such an honor to be a part of this campaign and it was an amazing experience to work with Madonna and Lola. Material Girl is incredible because it’s high fashion but it is accessible to everyone at Macy’s."
Accessibility is something Lourdes stressed when she talked to People about the 2011 collection. "I don’t go out and buy all of these expensive [clothes]…so it’s good for my friends. It’s good for everybody and it’s good clothing, too," she said.
Kelly's colorful ads will debut in the April issues of Seventeen, Teen Vogue and Cosmopolitan.
